The WA scheme publishes maximum support of $1,300 for eligible Synergy households or $3,800 for eligible Horizon Power households, based on 10 kWh usable capacity. PSA’s current vendor listing is for Synergy customers; Horizon Power customers need a Horizon-approved vendor.

Can a battery be added to my existing solar?

Often, yes. PSA checks the inverter, switchboard, phase configuration, network requirements and condition of the existing system before recommending a retrofit pathway.

Do you install FoxESS batteries?

PSA installs selected FoxESS battery and inverter products when they suit the home, existing equipment, supply configuration and project goals. The exact model and usable capacity are confirmed during design.

How much battery capacity do I need?

The useful capacity depends on excess solar, evening demand, backup priorities and budget. A larger battery is not automatically a better fit.

Will a battery run the whole home in a blackout?

Not automatically. Backup depends on inverter output, available battery energy and which circuits are included in the backup design.

What is the difference between battery capacity and backup power?

Capacity is how much energy the battery can store. Backup power is how much demand the inverter and battery can supply at one time. Both matter when deciding which appliances or circuits can operate during an outage.

Can I keep my existing solar inverter?

Sometimes. An AC-coupled battery may allow the current solar system to remain, but PSA first checks compatibility, system condition, phase configuration, network rules and whether a combined upgrade would be more sensible.

Which rebates might apply?

Eligible households may access WA state support and federal battery STCs. Product, vendor, capacity, VPP and household eligibility conditions apply.

Can a FoxESS battery be expanded later?

Selected FoxESS ranges are modular, but later expansion depends on the installed model, compatible modules, inverter limits, system age and site conditions. Future capacity is best discussed during the original design.

Will I be able to monitor the battery in an app?

Selected FoxESS systems support app monitoring. The available data and controls depend on the installed inverter, battery, metering and network connection.
